Amendment - A site visit is has been extended and been schedule for Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. Pacific Standard Time. Vendors who are interested in participating in the site visit are strongly encouraged to submit a site visit request to the contract specialist by no later than May 26, 2021 at susana.dryer@us.af.mil and ana.velasco.2@us.af.mil. Please include name, driver license, date of birth information of the company’s representative. Q&A Responses. We received the below questions from the contractor. Please provide a response. 1. Please provide As-Builts for the shack and for the pumps. R: Not available. 2. Please provide pump model # and manufacture information. R: See the attached - 3. Please provide pictures of the area; including pump model #’s, the shack (for the exterior and interior), and electrical panel feeding the pump that is to be replaced. R: See the attached 4. The Scope of Work specifies the roof to be removed and replaced? To what extent does the roof need to be replaced? R: The roof needs to be removed in order to crane out the pump and motor assembly which is approximately. The motor is about 1,000lbs and the pump assembly is about 3,000 lbs. After the new pump and motor are reinstalled then the roof needs to be reattached. 5. During the site visit, the facility manager specified the roof needs to be removed in order to crane out the old pump and crane in the new pump. What requirements are needed to bring in a crane? R:The weight of the equipment to be removed. The solicitation appears to be a simple pump swap out and fits our standard work we do every day. The detail only lists the Model as a 12CLC which is Gould’s, 12 inch pump 5 stage. It does not detail the pump set length, the pump head type, and many other required specifics to build this. Do you have the packaged pump station manufacturer details so we can request this to provide a best offer? R: Flowtronix pump station installed in Dec 2001. Attached is more info. If the depth of the wet well is unknown but can be measure during the site visit. 1. Golf Course Pump Replacement (as defined in the PWS) A site visit is tentatively scheduled for Friday, May 14, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time.
