This cancellation is in the best interest of the Government.**** (4) Electric Towing Vehicles to include the following specifications: • Shall have a minimum load capacity of 2,500 pounds • Shall not exceed 24 miles per hour • Shall have a minimum tow capacity of 8,000 pounds • The overall length shall be at least 96 inches with a maximum length of 135 inches • The overall width shall be at least 50 inches with a maximum width of 60 inches • Shall have a minimum ground clearance of 5 inches • Shall have a minimum bed size of 48 inches wide and 74 inches long • The bed shall be a flat cargo space capable of holding material that can be loaded directly onto the bed • The bed shall include a minimum of four (4) tie down points capable of supporting a minimum of 800 pounds each • The bed shall have side walls that are at least 8 inches tall and can fold down (not removed unless stored on the vehicle) and the ability to be driven while folded down or stowed • Shall have an operational horn • Shall have backup alarm • Shall require a key to operate • Shall include two (2) keys • Shall have operable driver and passenger windows with the ability to roll or slide to open • Shall have all lights required by law (break, headlights, and turn signals) • Shall have strobe light installed on roof that is on with headlights • Windshield shall conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard on glazing materials (49 CFR 571.205) • Windshield shall have windshield wiper(s) • Shall have driver and passenger outside mirrors as well as inside rear-view mirror. • Shall have driver and passenger seats with backrest • Shall have adjustable driver’s seat • Shall have driver and passenger side seatbelts installed, type 1 or type 2 • Shall be Electric with built in charger 110-volt plug • Shall have pneumatic tires • Shall have leaf or coil spring suspension • Shall have 4-wheel hydraulic disk brakes • Shall have a parking brake • Shall have heater option installed • Shall have hitch or be capable of having hitch installed • Shall include an Oversized Operators Compartment to include a minimum 58-inch-tall cab, with minimal dash presence and high steering column, to prevent any interference with drivers’ knees
