Repair/Overhaul of the F100 Dual Ignition Exciters NSNs 2925-01-408-1480NZ, 2925-01-206-5230NZ NAICS: 336412/Size Standard: 1,500 employees ASFC/PZAAA organization, located at Tinker Air Force Base, OK, is requesting information, pursuant to FAR PART 10, in support of Market Research to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of the F100 Dual Ignition Exciters for use by United States Air Force (USAF) .personnel. The level of security clearance and amount of foreign participation in this requirement has not been determined. Contractors/Institutions responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards as this survey is for planning purposes and may not result in a solicitation or contract. The government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey. A Performance Work Statement (PWS) and an Repair Qualification Requirement (RQR) is attached. Function: The dual ignition exciter steps up the igniter voltage during engine startup for the F100 engine. The material is aluminum alloy.
