Below is the proposed Purchase Order (PO) Magnetic Inspection Bench for the pre-solicitation notice to be posted on sam.gov (formally FedBizOps) website. 2. This acquisition is a competitive 100% Small Business Set-Aside. It will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract and the award will be made to a Small Business. This acquisition is being synopsized under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 334516. Small business size standard is $1,000 employees. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. 3. 7 EMS requests the purchase of one (1) Magnetic Inspection Bench, see attached specs sheet for further information. a. This is a synopsis and does not obligate the government to award; the government reserves the right to withdraw the synopsis and any forthcoming solicitation without due compensation to potential offerors. This announcement does not constitute a Request for Proposal. The solicitation shall incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the most current Federal Acquisition Circular. 5. Place of Performance: Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. 6. Requested Delivery Period: 90-180 Days ADC 7. The Government intends to award on a lowest price technically acceptable basis. The solicitation will be issued via www.sam.gov (formally FedBizOps) website. No paper copies of the solicitation, specifications, plans or bidders mailing list will be issued from this office. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Prospective contractors must register on the site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. The SAM site is http://www.sam.gov. There will be no preannouncement of when the solicitation will be available; however, the issue date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on or about 21 April 2023 with a closing date of 14 days after issuance.
