Pre-solicitation Notice for Solicitation W56HZV-23-R-0110 The Government intends to solicit and negotiate a contract to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), BAE Systems, Cage Code: 06085, on a sole source basis for one year under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, and 10 U.S.C 3204(a)(1) “Only One Responsible Source, and No Other Suppliers or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements”. BAE is the developer and manufacturer of the M88 Family of Vehicles. The Technical Data Package is source controlled by BAE and is non-competitive. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A Request for Proposal (RFP) is targeted for release by 14 June 2023. The proposal will be due approximately 60 days after RFP is released. Contract award is targeted for December 2023. This is a pre-solicitation notice (otherwise known as a synopsis). A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action, is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
