The US Army Medical Command, Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, Fort Hood Health Contracting Cell is issuing this sources sought synopsis on behalf of Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center (CRDAMC), Fort Hood, Texas to be used for prliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. Any request for solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored. The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central has an upcoming requirement to solicit for delivery of Medical Gases for Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center and External Clinics for various delivery schedules as needed at Fort Hood, Texas 76544 for an estimated period of performance of 01 October 2022 to 30 September 2023 with four (4) option years ending 30 September 2027. (Please see attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the full details/scope of work for this requirement for delivery of Medical Gases, delivery locations, the type of medical gases to be delivered and quantity of the medical gases to be delivered.) This request is anticipated to result in a Firm Fixed-Priced contract. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 325120 - "Industrial Gas Manufacturing". The Small Business Size Standard is 100 employees. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of the Small Business Community to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), Women-Owned Small Business, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), as well as the interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of the Large Business community, to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price Contract for this requirement. The type of solicitation to issue will depend upon the responses to this sources sought synopsis. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsive contractors. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
