This is a sources sought/synopsis announcement issued by the Defense Health Agency (DHA) National Capital Region (NCR) as part of its market research, on behalf of the Fort Belvoir Community Hospital (FBCH), 9300 Dewitt Loop, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060, in accordance with FAR 6.1, Full and Open Competition, FAR Part 13.302, Purchase Orders, and FAR 16.202, Firm Fixed Price Contracts. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price, Purchase Order Contract for commercial items / services for the procurement of the unique spiritual and moral needs of the Fort Belvoir Community Hospital (FBCH) Catholic community defined as staff, patients, family members, and significant others to include all DOD-authorized employees. Additional Information Necessary for to spiritual and moral needs of the Fort Belvoir Community Hospital (FBCH) Catholic community defined as staff, patients, family members, and significant others to include all DOD-authorized employees: BASIC PATORAL CARE SERVICES: The Contractor will plan, coordinate and provide sacramental ministrations as required and requested, including mass, baptisms (including emergencies), confirmations, anointing of the sick, marriages, funerals, memorials and confessions. The Contractor will perform up to 1,920 hours. SUNDAY/HOLY DAY MASSES: The Contractor will perform up to 59 hours of Sunday/Holy Day Masses. ON CALL: The Contractor will be on call 0730 – 1630, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sundays, (5) days a week, provide up to 120 hours of “on-call” ministry when applicable. The estimated contract is for five years, Base plus 4 Option Years. The NAICS code is 813110, Religious Organizations, with a size standard of $8,000,000. Federal Supply Class or Product Service Code R401. This notice is a request for competitive proposals.
