The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Air Combat Electronics Program (PMA 209), Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate and award a Sole Source, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract to Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing UK Limited, Cleeve Business Park, Bishops Cleeve Cheltenham Gloucestershire GL52 8TW United Kingdom for the procurement of Magnetometers and associated hardware, software, material, engineering, technical and logistics support. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole-source basis under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. ONTIC is the only company with the knowledge, expertise, required equipment, including the associated technical data and data rights, necessary to meet the Government's requirement. THIS SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPROSAL. This notice outlines the Government’s intent to contract on a sole source basis with Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing UK Limited. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice.
