SEE ATTACHED DOCUMENT FOR COMPLETE DETAILS. This notice is for the contractor operation and maintenance of the HST vessel (USNS GUAM). Contractor shall provide personnel, operational and technical support ashore and afloat, tools, provisions and supplies necessary to operate and maintain the vessel. The vessel shall be operated in a professional manner, maintained in good condition, and shall be mission-ready at all times. The mission of the USNS GUAM is to provide intra-theater lift in support of III Marine Expeditionary Force’s Theater Security Cooperation Program functions and military exercises. The Government anticipates GUAM will be operating within Far East area of operations at time of contract award and will continue to do so throughout the contract period. GUAM is presently hubbed in Okinawa, Japan, and operates primarily in and between Japan and Korea. GUAM has also operated in and between Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Commonwealth of the Marianas, and Guam and may operate anywhere in the Seventh Fleet Area of Responsibility (AOR).
