The purpose of this notice is to find sources on who can provide the below requirement: BACKGROUND In 2017, The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) sought to identify potential sources within the defense industrial base with the ability to provide a conversion kit for the M4A1 to create a Personal Defense Weapon (PDW) system that delivered advancements in concealability and ballistic capabilities. As a continuation, USSOCOM currently seeks to identify a Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) PDW system that meets the Reduced Signature Assault Rifle (RSAR) Kit technical requirements. The RSAR is a compact .300 Blackout (Blk) weapon system that allows for advanced concealability, increased range, and increased terminal effects on target over currently fielded PDW systems. The RSAR Kit should include a suppressor, adjustable buttstock, .300 Blk magazines, 5.56x45 mm barrel conversion kit, cleaning kit, hard case, and any tools needed for caliber conversion and user maintenance. The RSAR should allow for the safe firing of sub and super-sonic government ammunition without a decrease in weapon functionality or performance.
