This Sources Sought notice is for market research only and seeks qualified sources capable of supporting the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP) sensor suite, including the mission’s eventual decommissioning. The government wants to assess potential contractors’ capabilities, capacity, and qualifications to support the ongoing DMSP mission. DMSP is a Department of Defense program office under the Department of the Air Force, United States Space Force, Combat Forces Command, Mission Delta 4, 4th Sustainment Squadron at Peterson SFB, CO. The program designs, builds, launches, and maintains satellites that monitor meteorological, oceanographic, and solar-terrestrial physics environments. The DMSP mission is planned to continue through its functional End of Life, currently projected through September 2028.
