This Sources Sought notice is for market research only and is not an RFP, RFQ, or IFB. The U.S. Government seeks to identify qualified sources capable of providing sustaining engineering, operational support, and eventual decommissioning for the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP) spacecraft fleet. The notice is intended to assess potential contractors’ capabilities, capacity, and qualifications to support the DMSP spacecraft bus and associated subsystems. DMSP is the longest-running production satellite program, providing critical weather and environmental data for military operations, and is jointly managed by the U.S. Space Force and NOAA. Anticipated requirements include NAICS Code 541330 and SECRET facility and personnel clearances.
