Sources Sought Notice for Information Only: The United States Army Contracting Command - Redstone Arsenal is conducting market research for a forthcoming requirement entitled “MFOM Electronic Unit Control, Machines”. This requirement will support the Letterkenny Army Depot Munitions Center. This document shall serve as a Request for Information (RFI) and combine Sources Sought Notice issued for informational and planning purposes only.This market research will be used to ensure enough small businesses exist with the intent to propose. The Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is enclosed. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334519 - OTHER MEASURING AND CONTROLLING DEVICE MANUFACTURING. A major objective of the market research for this requirement is to determine the level of interest for small business participation. Letterkenny Army Depot is seeking information concerning the availability of capable contractors to provide these Elex Control Units, NSN 2835-01-483-2227, PN 13330591 per year using a base plus four option year contract. The Electronic Control Unit must be built exactly to the specifications of Electronic Control Units, NSN- 2835-01-483-2227 PN 13330591. No variation or revisions will be accepted. For the purposes of the RFI, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334519. The small business size standard is 600 employees. If your firm is capable of requirements described in this RFI, please provide a Capability Statement to Kevin Duffy, kevin.a.duffy4.civ@army.mil by 10 MAY 2024, 10:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time. In addition, the following information is requested: (1) Company cage Code, DUNS, name, address, point of contact, telephone number and email address; (2) Any small business status including: service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns, and economically disadvantaged women-owned small business (EDWOSB) concerns and women-owned small business (WOSB) concerns eligible under the WOSB Program. Include whether the company’s status is certified by the Small Business Administration (SBO). (3) Please indicate which NAICS code(s) your company usually performs under Government contracts; (4) In addition, please submit past performance information, including recent and relevant contracts for the same or similar items and other references (including contract numbers, points of contact with telephone numbers, and other relevant information). Explain how similar experience equips your company to successfully perform this proposed requirement. This experience can consist of contracts held with Department of Defense, other Government agencies or private industry. Competition and set-aside decision may be based on the result of this market research. Interested parties must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM). SAM can be accessed at https://www.sam.gov.portal/public/SAM or by calling 866-606-8220. In addition, interested businesses must complete representations and certifications in SAM, specifically including the questions about parent companies. The government plans to use the Internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information. Hard copies of documents posted on https://www.sam.gov will not be made available. This is not a Request for a Proposals, (RFP). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract.
