This Sources Sought is for informational and planning purposes only. Market research in accordance with FAR Part 10 is being conducted. This is not a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote or Invitation for Bid. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to survey prospective vendors capable of providing preventive and remedial maintenance for the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS)+ located in Building 8 at Corpus Christi Army Depot, Corpus Christi, Texas. Dematic Corp. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The configuration of the ASRS+ includes the following list of sub-systems and their respective components: the pallet load system with storage/retrieval (S/R) machines and automated guided vehicles (AGV); mini load system with Processing/Accumulation/Kitting (PAK) workstations; maintenance receiving area (MRA). Services include all preventative and remedial maintenance on-site on the ASRS, sub-systems, and respective components. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and electronic) Repair and Maintenance with a Small Business Size Standard of $11 million. The Product Service Code (PSC) is J039 – Maintenance, Repair and Rebuilding of Equipment: Materials Handling Equipment. The Period of Performance is for one (1) base year. This requirement is currently awarded, under the current sole source contract W912NW21P0022, to Dematic Corp., a large business, for one (1) base year. Dematic Corp. possesses proprietary data regarding the ASRS+ and has been the sole provider of services. Your response to this Sources Sought shall be electronically submitted to the Contract Specialist, Londres Medranda in Microsoft Word, Excel, or Portable Document Format (PDF), via email to londres.e.medranda.civ@army.mil no later than 12:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time (CDT) on 23 May 2022. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly articulate the ability to provide this requirement as outlined above.
