The Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal is seeking innovative solutions on behalf of Tobyhanna Army Depot to automate and modernize its Plating Shop operations. The solution must include hardware, automated parts handling, and open-architecture SCADA software to support 12 different electroplating and conversion coating lines/processes. The automation aims to reduce employee exposure to hazardous chemicals, improve quality and throughput, lower operational costs, enable digital recipe management, and add safety alarming systems.
