Electronic Autocollimator
The U.S. Army TMDE Activity requires the procurement of two brand-name Electronic Autocollimators for high-accuracy angle measurements in calibrating angular gage blocks, optical prisms, polygons, and wedges. The instruments must meet stringent specifications, including accuracy better than 0.05 arcseconds, resolution below 0.01 arcseconds, a measurement range exceeding ±100 arcseconds, dual-axis capability, a compact footprint, and ISO 17025 accredited calibration. Specific model requirements include the ELCOMAT HR with 0.005 arcsec resolution, ±0.01 arcsec accuracy over any 10 arcsec range, and a ±150 arcsec measuring range, along with associated software and calibration. Performance will be delivered to the Army Primary Standards Laboratory (APSL) at Building 5435 Fowler Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL.
