The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to survey prospective vendors capable of providing an Atomic Absorption System as documented in the attached Draft Statement of Work (SOW). The Draft SOW defines the equipment, performance, training, software, and support requirements for an Atomic Absorption System. The Contractor shall provide the Atomic Absorption System to the Corpus Christi Army Depot, Corpus Christi, Texas 78419, FOB Destination. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,000 number of employees. This acquisition will result in a firm-fixed price contract. This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only. Market research in accordance with FAR Part 10 is being conducted. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of acquisition. This is not a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote, or Invitation for Bid. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to make an award as a result of this announcement. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. Comments and/or suggestions are encouraged and can be included in your response. Interested businesses shall provide the following information: 1. Company name, mailing address, cage code, point of contact, telephone number and email address. 2. Business size status, e.g., 8(a), Woman Owned or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, small business, large business, etc. 3. Appropriate written information and/or data supporting your capability to perform the required effort. 4. Answers to the following questions: a. Have you provided this item or similar item in the past? b. What is your delivery lead time after receipt of order? c. What are your payment/discount terms? d. Where is the product manufactured? e. What is the warranty coverage? This notice is designed to locate responsible sources that have an interest and capability to fulfill this requirement. If your firm is capable and qualified, send the required response in writing to the primary point of contact indicated within this announcement.
