The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to survey prospective Contractors capable of providing a pit lining system for the containment pit in the chemical booth of the Advanced Corrosion Control Facility (ACCF) at the Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD). Approximately 7,000 square feet of concrete surface will be coated with a chemically resistant lining system supplied by the Contractor. Specifically, this lining system must be resistant to fluorotitanic acid and chromium sulfate and must withstand a pH range of 2.6 to 4.0 in continuous service. The attached Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) has further details. The place of performance for this work is the Corpus Christi Army Depot, Corpus Christi, Texas 78419. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 238390 Other Building Finishing Contractors with a Small Business Size Standard of $19.0 million. This acquisition will result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only. Market research in accordance with FAR Part 10 is being conducted. This is not a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote, or Invitation for Bid. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to make an award as a result of this announcement. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. Comments and/or suggestions are encouraged and can be included in your response.
