Market research in accordance with FAR Part 10 is being conducted. This is not a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote, or Invitation for Bid. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 336413 Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,250 employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 1730 – Aircraft Ground Servicing Equipment. This acquisition is intended to result in a firm-fixed price contract. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to survey prospective vendors capable of providing AH-64 Wrap-Around Maintenance Stands (2 Ea.). The Contractor shall provide on-site user training and technical documentation. See attached Specifications (Attachment 1) and Statement of Work (Attachment 2) documents for further requirement details. Delivery is FOB Destination to the Corpus Christi Army Depot, Corpus Christi, Texas 78419. Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) clause 252.211-7003 Item Unique Identification and Valuation applies. Comments and/or suggestions on the specifications are encouraged and can be included in your response. Interested businesses shall provide the following information: 1. Business size status, e.g., 8(a), Woman Owned or Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, small business, large business, etc. 3. Appropriate written information and/or data supporting your capability to perform the required effort, to include past performance, if applicable. 4. Are you a manufacturer or supplier of the item? d. What is your lead-time for delivery? e. Have you ever performed Government contracts? f. What are your payment/discount terms? g. If you require different terms and conditions than those normally used by the Government, what are your commercial terms and conditions? Please feel free to provide a copy of your terms and conditions for this type of work. h. Where are the components manufactured and is there compliance with the Buy American statute for this item? i. What is your estimated cost for this requirement? You will not be held to this price. It is only for market research purposes. j. Do you offer warranty coverage? k. Are there any issues with including transportation charges from the shipping point of the supplier to the delivery destination (FOB destination) within the product price? This notice is designed to locate responsible sources that have an interest and have the ability to supply the item described herein.
