This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, PANRSA-20-P-0000 007016, is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The Government reserves the right to award without discussions. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-04. The requirement is a small business set aside. The associated NAICS code is 811219. The small business size standard is $22,000,000.00. Description of the requirement is as follows: request for a firm fixed price quote for the calibration and repair services of a Model 2500ST Humidifier Generator; Serial Number 0108316, manufactured by Thunder Scientific, Corp. of Albuquerque, NM per the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). The US Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, intends to issue a firm fixed price contract. The Government intends to use the policies and procedures of FAR Part 12 in conjunction with those at FAR Part 13 for this effort. The U.S. Army TMDE Activity, Redstone Arsenal, AL (Acceptance DODAAC: W80RA6) shall be responsible for the receiving, inspection and acceptance requirements of DFAS Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) for all units. Delivery is FOB Destination. Equipment will be shipped to the following location: W80RA9 US Army TMDE Support Center – Aberdeen Aberdeen Proving Ground Attention: Mr. Fred Senger Building 2482, Hartford Blvd Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-5001 Period of performance should be no more than 45 days from receipt of order by the contractor. Earlier return delivery is desired if at no additional cost to the government. Terms and conditions for this requirement are consistent with customary commercial practices. Requiring Activity: U.S Army Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment Activity (USATA) PAN NUMBER: PANRSA-20-P-0000-007016 (NG-0031-20) NAISC: 811219 Original Equipment Manufacturer: Thunder Scientific Corporation NOTICE TYPE: Sources Sought/Request for Information SYNOPSIS: The Army Contracting Command - Redstone, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama 35898 on behalf of the U.S. Army Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment Activity (USATA) hereby issues the following Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) to ascertain the level of interest of potential vendors desiring to contract for commercial services based on commercial catalog industry pricing. USATA is looking for potential vendors that can provide calibration and/or repair services (C&RS) for the following equipment: • C&RS on Thunder Scientific, Model 2500ST, Humidity Generator, S/N:0108316 • Issue: Standard repair and accredited calibration required. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY – This RFI is released pursuant to FAR 15.201(e). It is issued solely for information and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Army is not seeking proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested parties’ expense.
