Synopsis: This notice is published in accordance with FAR 10.002 and 15.201(e) and is a Request for Information (RFI) only in support of market research.The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone (ACC-RSA) issues this sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having an interest and industry technologies available to provide Depot Level maintenance for the HELLFIRE Modular Missile System (HMMS).The result of this market research will help determine the method of procurement, if a requirement materializes. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding submissions.The Government requires Depot Level maintenance for the HELLFIRE Modular Missile System (HMMS) and technical support for the HELLFIRE II missiles to include missile repair, contractor furnished material necessary for the repairs, and operation of a Government-Owned Contractor-Operated (GOCO) facility in Bynum, AL, and application of modification work orders (MWOs). This requirement consists of two additional twelve month options to the current contract (W31P4Q-17-C-0184) for 972 each repairs, 9,700 repair hours, and 80,000 modification work order hours. All information received will be used only for planning purposes. This sources sought/RFI shall not be considered as an Invitation for Bid (IFB), Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or as an obligation on the part of the USG to respond, or to acquire any products or services. Any response to this synopsis will be treated as information only. No entitlement to payment of direct costs or charges by the USG will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this synopsis to the USG for use of such information. The information provided may be used by the United States Army in developing its acquisition strategy and in its Statement of Work/Statement of Objectives or Performance Specifications. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if issued. If the USG issues a solicitation, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website. It is the responsibility of any potenial offeror to monitor FedBizOpps for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
