The Agency intends to award a firm fixed price order to Hexagon Metrology,Inc. utilizing the authority at FAR 13.106(b)(1)(I). The service is to provide preventative maintenance (PM), machine remedial repair (RR) and calibration (CAL) services for two (2) Leica Laser Trackers, both model AT901-LR, at the Rock Island Arsenal. The service is to include Emscon software maintenance and upgrades. Individual contractors must have knowledge, but not limited to, Leica Laser Tracker Model AT901-LR and Emscon software. Service technicians performing the work must have, but not limited to, evidence of factory training in servicing Leica machines and have at least three years' experience servicing Leica machines. Leica Laser Tracker AT901-LR utilizes the Emscon software to interface. Emscon software is proprietary technology to Hexagon Metrology, Inc. Due to the proprietary nature of the Emscon software, Hexagon Metrology, Inc. is the only vendor capable of providing the upgrades and maintenance services requested. A redacted Memorandum For Record (MFR) used to justify the need for a sole source award is attached to this posting. The NAICS code for this procurement is 811219 with a size standard of $20,500,000.00. The anticipated award date is on or before 27 MAY 2019. The Government is not obligated to respond, and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice.
