DESCRIPTION: The Office of the Project Manager for Maneuver Ammunition System and the Army Contracting Command – New Jersey are seeking interested and qualified sources with the capability to build prototypes, conduct Non-Recurring Engineering, Design, Development, Manufacture and Test, and produce low-rate quantities for Medium Caliber (20mm - 50mm) ammunition. Efforts may include but are not limited to: fabrication and assembly of medium caliber munitions and components, comparison testing, modeling and simulations, packaging, modifications to medium caliber munitions, loading and testing propellant and explosives, tool and equipment design, firing and testing medium caliber munitions, and limited production quantities. SPECIFICATIONS: Medium Caliber munitions and/or components shall be manufactured to Government owned Technical Data Packages, drawings, and/or specifications, which will be Distribution Statements D (distribution authorized to the Department of Defense and U.S. DoD contractors only), F (further dissemination only as directed by PM-MAS or higher DoD authority). PLANNED ACQUISITION: The anticipated procurement will be a five-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract (IDIQ) for FY26-FY31. SUBMISSION INFORMATION: This is a market survey for planning purposes only. Please be advised that the Government will not pay for any information submitted under this announcement. Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary. Please identify any proprietary information submitted. The Government intends to utilize the information received to develop the acquisition strategy for future requirements. Any of the information stated above is subject to change. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a separate solicitation notice will be published. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this survey or results of information submitted. Electronic submittals are required. All interested sources shall respond by providing the Government the following information: Name of company, business address, CAGE code, Unique Identity ID, and business size information POC's Name, telephone number, and email address A summary of the company's qualifications and capability, description of facilities, equipment, manufacturing process, inspection capability, engineering skills and personnel A summary of any partnerships and teaming arrangements Respondents must demonstrate that they have the capability and necessary facilities for designing and producing test quantities of medium caliber munitions and are staffed with both production and development experts. Respondents must also demonstrate the ability to conduct ballistic testing. If a respondent does not have these resources (technical, manufacturing, personnel, facilities etc.) available, then it must demonstrate its ability to obtain them in a reasonable time period. All potential producers interested in this opportunity must be registered in the System for Award Management. If a respondent chooses to utilize the services of vendors or subcontractors, those vendors or subcontractors must also meet the same criteria as the prime contractor.
