Columbia & Lower Willamette Rivers Pipeline Dredging
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is conducting market research to identify qualified parties for a long-term pipeline dredging contract for the Columbia and Lower Willamette Rivers Navigation Project in Oregon and Washington. The anticipated period of performance is a minimum of 5 years, with dredging set to begin on-site on 01 Oct 2027. The work involves maintaining deep draft channels, requiring the annual removal of 2.5 to 4 million cubic yards of material, with the contractor providing all necessary vessels, equipment, and crews. The operation must remain proximal to the project year-round, supporting an average daily production rate between 18,000 and 25,000 cubic yards in a challenging tidal and riverine environment.
