This notice is not a request for proposals. Proposals will be solicited as part of a future notice, should the Government continue its effort to satisfy this anticipated requirement. The Alabama National Guard is planning to solicit competition for portable waste management services in support of training at Pelham Range and the Fort McClellan Training Site in Anniston, Alabama. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562991 (Size Standard: $8,000,000). The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, indefinite quantity contract with firm fixed prices resulting the anticipated future solicitation. If awarded, the contract will consist of a 12 month base year with four 12 month option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government. Specific details will be included in the solicitation packet. All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and in compliance with all Federal and State policies and regulations. The contractor will provide services in accordance with the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS). This is not a request for bids or proposals. Once the solicitation is posted we will indicate a closing date for receipt of proposals. Please do not send quotes to the points of contacts in response to this pre-solicitation notice. The solicitation will be distributed solely through Contract Opportunities website https://sam.gov/content/opportunities. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available.
