The purpose of this notice is to provide the marketplace notice that the government intends to solicit quotes for a 10Gbps Commercial Internet Subscription at the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC), 5884 A Street, Alpena, Michigan, 49707 during Fiscal Year (FY) 2023. The subscription will be for a base period of twelve (12) months, and four (4) optional twleve (12) month periods. This notice is not a solicitation of quotes from contractors, and quotes should not be sent in response to this notice. If a quote is sent, it will not be considered. Quotes will only be reviewed in response to the forthcoming solicitation of quotes for this requirement. This notice is prepared IAW FAR 5.207(a). Contracting Office: Alpena CRTC, Michigan, 49707 Place of Performance: Alpena CRTC, 5884 A Street, Alpena, MI 49707 Estimated Award Date: Not Later Than 24 September 2023 PSC: 7G21 NAICS: 517112 Proposed Solicitation Number W50S86-23-Q-0004 Proposed Solicitation Close Date: 7 July 2023 Proposed Set-Aside: Total Small Business Proposed Contract Type: Firm-Fixed Price Description: The contractor shall be required to provide all supervision, transportation, tools, material, labor, and other items necessary to provide commercial internet subscription to the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC), Alpena, MI. The commercial internet subscription is needed to support between 200-1000 concurrent users throughout the base dormitory areas, base offices, and dining facilities. The CRTC requires a commercial internet fiber connection be delivered to the Demarcation Point (DEMARC) in the area of the property line which is near the base main entrance. This commercial internet subscription shall be a fixed-rate speed of 10 Gigabits per Second (Gbps). This subscription is required to support member nations, other joint service partners, and other branches of the military while working at the Alpena CRTC. The responsibility for maintenance of the subscription regarding the fiber backbone on the base will be the responsibility of the Alpena CRTC maintenance section. Any maintenance or troubleshooting outside of the base demarcation point will be the responsibility of the contractor. Period of Performance: The Period of Performance shall be one Base Year of 12 months and four 12-month option years.
