THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. NO QUOTES WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THIS TIME AND THERE IS NO GUARANTEE OF A SOLICITATION ACTION. The Air Control Squadron (ACS) requires a serviceable Air Handler to operate the government owned Paint Booth in support of the unit’s deployable mission equipment valued at over $50M. The ACS is located less than a mile from the Pacific Ocean and is classified as a Class 5 “severely” corrosive environment. The Air Handler is a subsystem of the paint booth and provides heated and non-heated forced fresh air to both evacuate harmful paint fumes during spray painting operations and to provide heated air to facilitate the curing of applied corrosion preventative coatings as per manufacture’s requirements. Contractor will provide a vertical industrial heater. Supply fan handles 19000 CFM @ 0.500” wc ESP, Fan runs at 409 RPM. Heater supplies 1539000 BTUs. 75F Temperature Rise. Fuel: Natural Gas Supply Motor: 10.00HP, 3 Phase, 208V, 60Hz, 26.6 FLA, TEFC, Premium (E-Plus3) Eff. Side Discharge – Air Flow Left->Right X1. Installation shall include a functional review, test, and document of the performance readings. See the attached Statement of Requirement for further.
