The United States Property & Fiscal office for California (USPFO-CA) Purchasing and Contracting Office intends to solicit a requirement to support the California National Guard Industrial Hygiene Region West (IHRW) Program. 1) This acquisition is being offered for competition limited to eligible Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) participants. 2) The NAICS is 541620. 3) This acquisition is not restricted. It is open to all eligible SDVOSB designated small businesses. Interested SDVOSB participants should request a copy of the solicitation as expeditiously as possible since the solicitation will be issued without further notice. 4) The National Guard Bureau (NGB) Industrial Hygiene Region West (IHRW) office has a requirement to anticipate, recognize, and evaluate potential health hazards associated with processes performed at Army National Guard (ARNG) working facilities and to provide sound recommendations for hazard control. IH surveys will serve to establish a baseline of workplace conditions or update a previous baseline so that a worker’s history of exposure is provided for both civilian and military employees (Army Regulation (AR) 385-10 The Army Safety Program). Training events provided by the Contractor will prepare ARNG IH personnel to survey facilities for workplace hazards.
