This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of the synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their business size classification relative to NAICS: 333923- Overhead Traveling Crane, Hoist, and Monorail System Manufacturing (Size Standard: 1,250). Responses to this synopsis will be utilized by the Government to determine the appropriate procurement methodology. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, an RFQ may be published on Contracting Opportunities at www.sam.gov. Responses to this sources sought synopsis shall not be considered a response to a solicitation. All interested offers’ will respond as an interested party to this sources sought. The Arkansas Air National Guard has a service requirement for the following: CLIN 0001: Repair 3 ton P&H SN-93661 A18 crane. Items to be repaired are the wire rope and conductor bar. Objective is to repair crane to fully serviceable. BACKGROUND: Upon inspection the crane shows to have a damaged wire rope and conductor bar parts need replaced. The crane is only partially functional and needs to be returned to fully functional. In response to this sources sought, interested parties are asked to provide detail on how they might meet the requirements in CLINS 0001. Additionally, they should also provide answers to the following: 1. Estimated amount for each CLIN. 2. Please indicate the size status and representations of your business, such as but not limited to: Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Hubzone, Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), 8(a), Large Business, etc.)? 3. Is your company considered small under the NAICS code identified under this RFI? 4. Are you the manufacturer, distributor, or an equivalent solution to the items being referenced above? 5. If you are a large business, do you have any designated distributors? If so, please provide their company name, telephone, point of Contact and size status (if available). 6. If you are a small business and you are an authorized distributor/reseller for the items identified above or an equivalent solution, do you alter; assemble; modify; the items requested in any way? If you do, state how and what is altered; assembled; modified? 7. Please provide general pricing of your products/solution for market research purposes. 8. Please submit your capabilities regarding the salient characteristics being provided and any information pertaining to equal to items to establish capabilities for planning purposes? 9. Please provide feedback or suggestions on any additional information needed to provide an accurate quote- If none, please reply as N/A. 10. Please provide your CAGE code or DUNS number.
