The New Jersey Air National Guard (NJANG) is seeking to identify interested small businesses that can provide a tire service trailer. It is intended that the NJANG will enter into a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract with a company that is able to provide a tire service trailer that meets the description and specification listed below. ITEM DESCRIPTION The contracted company shall provide a trailer for the transportation of, at a minimum, two KC-135R Tires. Barriers between each tire to keep stationary during movement. Chassis and Pneumatic tires capable of 8,000 lbs capacity. Ramp arrangement to allow rolling each tire on and off independently. Dimensions around 190" x 76" x 48"; weighing 1900 lbs. Trailer must be capable of safely and efficiently transporting aircraft tires, axle jacks, wheel dollies, and tools. HOW TO RESPOND This requirement is set aside for small businesses. In the event adequate small business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted. Interested contractors should respond in writing by submitting the information via email. Pages allowed for submission shall be no more than five (5) in length.
