The USPFO for VT intends to issue an Invitation for Bids to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary to repaint airfield pavement markings at the 158th Fighter Wing, Vermont Air National Guard Base located in South Burlington, Vermont. Work includes approximately 190,000 LF of various line striping and approximately 21,000 SF of markings. Airfield markings includes both retroreflective and non-retroreflective painting as specified in the Drawings and Specifications. The contract duration is 150 days after Notice To Proceed (NTP) to include completion of inspection and punch list. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 237310, with a size standard of $39,500,000. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. This action is being procured on an UNRESTRICTED basis. The HUBZone preference IAW FAR 19.1307 applies. IAW FAR 19.702(a)(1)(ii) a Small Business Subcontracting Plan will not be required if the offeror is a large business as the magnitude of construction is below $1.5 million. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on or about 4 February 2022. The date, time and location for the pre-bid conference will identified in the solicitation. A site visit will follow the pre-bid conference. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend. The solicitation closing date will be a minimum of 30 days after the issue date. The solicitation will identify exact bid due date, time, and location. Interested offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). To register go to www.sam.gov .
