This SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE is for market research purposes only to determine the availability of potential businesses with capabilities to provide the service described below. Potential offerors are invited to provide feedback via e-mail to William Blyth at william.j.blyth.civ@mail.mil. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. The Idaho Army National Guard in Boise, ID is requesting information in order to determine the existence of potential sources capable of furnishing and installing a Radio over IP (RoIP) gateway and High Frequency (HF) Antenna system. Contractor shall be required to provide on-site service, meet manufacturer specifications in preventive maintenance, and provide all tools and labor. Emergency calls may be required. A draft copy of the Performance Work Statement and equipment specifications is attached to this RFI. Considerable revisions are anticipated to be made to this document prior to the issuance of a formal solicitation in the future, based on feedback obtained in response to this RFI. Potential contractors are asked to provide, at a minimum, the following information: 1) Offeror’s name, address, point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address. 2) Offeror’s interest in submitting an offer on the solicitation when it is issued. 3) Company's DUNS number, type of small business and Business Size. 4) Brief capability statement with enough information to determine if the company can meet the requirement. The Capabilities Statement for this sources sought is not expected to be a Request for Proposal or Invitation for Bid, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach, but rather short statement regarding the company’s ability to provide the service above. Submission of capabilities statement will assist our office in tailoring the requirement to be consistent with industry standards. 5) Answers to the following questions regarding the PWS: a. How long is the installation of equipment anticipated to take? Will it take multiple visits, or can it be done in a single visit? b. What products do you sell that meet the specifications of the requested equipment? c. Do you have any recommendations on the equipment to either improve reliability or prolong technological obsolescence? d. What is the standard warranty for both equipment and installation? e. Do you offer any additional service plans that cover routine and/or emergency maintenance? f. What projects have you performed in the past that are similar in nature to this requirement? g. What comments/questions/concerns would you have is this work statement were up for bid or included in a contract you were working on? The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of available contractors. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is neither to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. All interested contractors should notify this office via email by Friday, April 9, 2021.
