The 109th Airlift Wing Base Contracting Office, Stratton Air National Guard Base, Scotia, NY 12302 intends to award a firm fixed price contract to demo and replace Building 12 roof, located here at the base. The general scope of work is below. Work will be conducted in strict accordance with contract and all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, codes, and directives. Estimated Construction Range: Between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement will be 100% set aside for small business concerns. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this acquisition is 238160. Small Business Size Standard for this acquisition is $16,500,000. The Contractor shall provide all construction services and materials for demolition and construction of a new roof on Building 12. Building 12 has a low slope, ethylene polypropylene diene monomer (EPDM) membrane roof that is in need of replacement and is divided into five different roof sections on two different elevation levels. There is asbestos containing material (ACM) within the tar above the steel decking on some of the roof sections. The project will begin 14 days following the Notice to Proceed and completed within 60 days including lead time required for equipment and materials ordering.
