This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is in support of Market Research being conducted by the Alaska Air National Guard - Eielson AFB, AK, to identify potential sources for a 3D scanner as a potential small business set-aside if enough small business interest is garnered to ensure pricing competition. This is not a Request for Proposal (or solicitation) or an indication that a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. The 168th Wing, is requesting information pursuant to FAR Part 10, in support of Market Research to identify potential sources for 3D scanner equipment. Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services necessary to provide the 3D scanner, equipment, and software as outlined in the attached required specifications sheet. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 334513, which has a corresponding Size Standard of 750 employees. This is a full and open requirement, however if enough small business interest is received a small business set-aside will be considered. For this reason it is strongly encouraged that small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses 8(a)s, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, hub zone businesses, and women-owned small businesses are encouraged to submit responses. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code.
