This Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought (SS) Notice is for market research, information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) or the US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA). The purpose of this requirement is to provide non-personal service(s) to provide security services, support, equipment, and materials for the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR). Tasks may include: (1) providing a site assessment of current security systems; (2) providing and maintaining an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) with support services; (3) providing security support services to assist Government security personnel in maintaining twenty-four hour, seven day a week security at the WRAIR main campus buildings 500, 501, 503, 508, 509, and 511; (4) installing and maintaining a lock and key system; and (5) installing and maintaining a Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) security camera system. This announcement is not a formal solicitation and is not a request for proposal. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made of any costs to provide information in response to this announcement or any follow up information requests. Availability of any formal solicitation will be announced under a separate announcement.
