Request for Information (RFI) Liquid Handler Instrument Preventative Maintenance General Information: This is an RFI as defined in FAR 15.201(e) to ascertain whether a commercial item exists that provides the capabilities described herein. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI will be treated as business confidential information. Nonetheless, submitters should properly mark their responses if the information is confidential. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expense associated with responding to this RFI. Responses are due to the Point of Contact, Ms. Rebecca Wisner at email: rebecca.c.wisner.civ@health.mil no later than 10:00AM ET, 20 June 2023 SPECIFIC TASKS 5.1 Objective: Perform preventive maintenance and repair of government owned equipment. The scope of this requirement includes full maintenance services for a “Hamilton” Liquid Handler Instrument, serial # F032. 5.2 Tasks: 5.2.1 Service 5.2.1.1 The contractor will provide personnel who meet the requirements and training objectives for installation access, Antiterrorism, and Operations Security requirements. 5.2.1.2 The contractor will provide all necessary safety equipment, tools, and parts. 5.2.1.3 The contractor will provide biannual preventative maintenance (PM) service to assure optimal performance of the liquid handler and to certify its accuracy and precision. 5.2.1.4 Following the PM the contractor will provide PM documentation along with a with a complete Pipetting Performance Verification Report. 5.2.1.5 The contractor will provide authentic Hamilton parts for maintenance and repair. 5.2.1.6 The contractor will conduct a final walk through with client to ensure equipment is maintained and fully operational. 5.2.2 Support 5.2.2.1 The contractor will provide a 24-hour support hotline to troubleshoot the Hamilton liquid handler instrument. 5.2.2.2 The contractor will provide free software upgrades for Hamilton instruments. 5.2.2.3 The contractor will provide 48-hour response time for on-site repair. 5.3 Service Contract Reporting: Not Applicable
