This is a service contract with equipment and personnel to provide MHE capable of loading containerized and non-containerized equipment weighing less than 10,000 lbs and no more than 100 Tons. Containerized equipment will be configured in containers ranging from quadcon to twenty-foot equivalent unit (TEU). Non-containerized equipment could be any range of armored military vehicle. The contractor shall provide capability to simultaneously upload and download containerized equipment at two locations on Fort Cavazos. Non containerized equipment will only require upload at a single location. Contractor may select MHE from their fleet as required to meet the specified requirement, but the government recommends, 30,000 (30K) pound forklifts w/ operators, Rough Terrain Container Handlers (RTCHs) w/ operators, flatbed truck w/ operators, and a 200 ton crane w/operators and spotter. Period of Performance: The period of performance shall be for both deployment and redeployment operations from 16 September to 15 October 2024 and 11 November to 15 December 2024 and excluding weekends. We do not expect the requirement to be the entire duration outlined. The quote was for a longer duration just in case rail operations move to a later date in the future. We expect to utilize the assets for roughly half the time resulting in half of the required funding.
