This is a Sources Sought Notice ONLY. The Department of Public Works currently intends to award a contract for 20 Portable Latrines on a SOLE SOURCE basis, but is seeking vendors that may be able to perform this requirement in order to support a competitive procurement. Accordingly, the U.S. Government highly encourages all interested businesses (large and small) to respond to this sources sought synposis. In addition, small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantage Business, Historically Underutilized Businees Zone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women-Owned Small Business concerns), must describe their identifying capabilities in meeting the requirements at a fair market price, i.e., information which may help support a set-aside. Fort Leonard Wood Specification for (20) Portable Latrines Contractor shall provide new portable latrines and deliver them to Directorate of Public Works (DPW) Building 2272 16498 FLW K Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri 65473 Portable latrines must meet the following minimum requirements: Construction Unit shall be high-density twin sheet polyethylene with thermally constructed walls and stainless steel or aluminum fasteners. Dimensions Overall dimensions (approximate +/- 1 inch) 89” H x 44” W x 48” D. Vents Unit shall be equipped with a minimum of six plastic screen vents at top of walls and a 4” minimum vent pipe installed in waste tank and extending above the roof. Skid/Foundation Skid and foundation shall be plastic with holes in skids for staking and an open grid floor. Tank Capacity Waste tank capacity shall be 62 gallons minimum with a sump located directly below center of seat. Seat deck shall be sloped for good drainage. Urinal Drain Urinal shall have 1” minimum opening and drain directly into waste tank. Roof Roof shall be translucent. Door/Hinge Door shall be constructed of twin sheet reinforced high density polyethylene and equipped with self-closing spring and continuous hinge. Latch Latch shall be sturdy device mounted inside of unit with an occupancy indicator. Warranty Unit shall have a ten year warranty with a lifetime warranty on all door parts (handle, spring and rod). Color Color shall be tan. Assembly Unit shall be delivered fully assembled. Marking Unit shall have the following visible identification permanently inscribed: Property of the U.S. Government. Shipping Total contract cost shall include shipping.
