The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, fort Carson, Colorado intends to award an unrestricted sole source contract to Oshkosh Defense, LLC, 2307 Oregon St. Oshkosh, WI 54903. 4ID G4 (Maintenance) is requesting Oshkosh OEM training to develop troubleshooting and maintenance skills of 4ID mechanics. These services allow 4ID and Fort Carson units to refresh skills and gain better knowledge on Oshkosh equipment. The contract will continue thru the end of fiscal year 2024, from 30 SEP 23 to 29 SEP 2024. The contract will provide multiple blocks of instruction throughout the fiscal year; IAW the Oshkosh training outline and training modules requested by 4ID. Oshkosh OEM Training is conducted to all enrolled students. 4-day CAT Engine Maintenance, Troubleshooting, 3-day Allison transmission Maintenance, Troubleshooting 3-day Air Conditioning with Fed Certification 3-day CTIS system Maintenance, and Troubleshooting 2-day Wheel end rebuild (any truck). 5-day HEMTTA4 (any variant) Operation, 5-day HEMTTA4 (any variant) Maintenance and Troubleshooting, 5-day PLSA1 Maintenance and Troubleshooting, 5-day Complete HEMTT Annual Service – would require parts. 10-day JLTV Maintenance and Troubleshooting, 5-day JLTV Advanced Troubleshooting, 5-day JLTV Operation, 10-day JLTV Maintenance and Troubleshooting, 5-day JLTV Advanced Troubleshooting, 5-day JLTV Operation, 5-day FMTVA1P2 (all variant) Maintenance and Troubleshooting, 5-day HETA1 Maintenance and Troubleshooting. This is a sole source procurement using the Simplified Acquistion Procedures authority for Soliciting Competition FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). This notice is not a request for competitive quotes, however; any firm that believes it can meet the requiremens may give written notificaiton to the contracting Officer within four days from the dates of the publication of this synopsis. Supporting evicence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demostrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed below. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Oshkosh corporation Training Center. The NAICS code is 611519- Other Technical and Trade School Services with a size standard of $21 million. Response are due 18 August 2023 1300 MST.
