Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg NC will host the fiscal year 2023 Medical Readiness Command – East (MRC-E), Best Leader Competition (BLC) FROM April 3 thru 23, 2023 on Fort Bragg, NC. Medical Readiness Command – East (MRC-E), is the anchor for this year’s competition, which was formerly known as Best Squad Competition. The BLC is designed to promote “Esprit De Corps” throughout the Army while recognizing Soldiers who demonstrate commitment to the Army values and embody the Warrior Ethos. The competition recognizes those Soldiers demonstrating superb military bearing and communication skills, knowledge of various military subjects and the ability to perform a variety of Soldier/Warrior skills above their peers. This event is a high visibility, no fail mission for the MRC-E community. The winning team is set to compete in Germany at the MEDCOM level BLC.
