The contractor shall be responsible for providing VWT (Vertical Wind Tunnel Training) capable of producing winds in excess of 120 mph to simulate free fall conditions; capable of housing multiple Sold... The contractor shall be responsible for providing VWT (Vertical Wind Tunnel Training) capable of producing winds in excess of 120 mph to simulate free fall conditions; capable of housing multiple Soldiers and instructors for training purposes; on site, knowledgeable and professional VWT instructors and operators who understand the unique intricacies to MFF versus skydiving; VWT capable of housing jumpers with combat equipment, simulating real world jump conditions. The contractor shall also be able to provide a VWT that is within driving distance and does not require overnight travel and 2 accommodations, which would significantly increase cost; “on the spot” verbal feedback to trainees, and all documentation to the Government lead representative at the training. The training session will be located within 25 miles of Fort Carson, Colorado.
