The purpose of the Musician (hereafter referred to as the “Contractor”) is to provide music for the Roman Catholic Worship Service, both by playing the organ and/or piano for special music, calls to worship and accompanying the congregation in the singing of hymns. This will provide the Catholic program with an essential element needed for public worship consistent with AR 165-1. The Contractor shall play the organ/piano, and if required by the Chaplain, provide choir direction at the 0900 Sunday Mass at Argonne Hills Chapel Center, Fort Meade, MD. The contractor shall provide musical accompaniment and choir direction for a choir at a weekly rehearsal at the Chapel Center on a night and at a time convenient for the members of the choir and fitting within the schedule of the Fort Meade Chapel Center.
