SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH This is a sources sought announcement only for the purposes of conducting market research in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. There is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and does not serve to bind the U.S. Government in any way. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor BetaSam.gov website located at http://www.beta.sam.gov/ for the release of any follow-on information. The Government will not reimburse any concern for any information that is submitted in response to this sources sought request. Any information submitted is voluntary. The U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Ft. Stewart, Georgia has an anticipated requirement to provide sign language interpreter services in support of Fort Stewart's Winn Army Community Hospital. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to provide the Winn Army Community Hospital with on-site support for interpreter services for the hearing impaired. Further, specific information is provided in the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). This work is performed under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 541930. The small business size standard for this NAICS is $8 million average annual revenue for the last three fiscal years. A continuing need is anticipated for the SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETER (which is currently being fulfilled through current contract # W9124M15P0117). Attached are the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). Interested sources must respond, via email, no later than 5:00 p.m. EST, Friday 3 July 2020 by email to Charisse Brown, Charisse.l.brown4.civ@mail.mil and Joshua L. Responses shall not exceed four (4) pages and must include the following information. *Company Name, CAGE Code, and DUNS Number *Point of Contact to include phone number, email address, and physical address *Indicate whether the source is a small business, 8(a), woman owned, service disabled veteran, HUB -zone, or any other socio-economic group *Company's NAICS *Capabilities statement and other information that demonstrates company's ability to meet the Government's needs This requirement is estimated to be for 160 hours a year, with services needed on a per call basis needed 2 – 5 times per month. Additional requested information for sign language interpreter services: *General pricing of services by hour or other industry standard measure *Industry standards for scheduling of services or minimum hours of work required per call *Any terms and conditions above those outlined in the draft PWS Identify any condition or action that may be having the effect of unnecessarily restricting competition with respect to this acquisition. No solicitation will be released for competition from this announcement, and no reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this announcement. No contract will be awarded on a basis of offers received in response to this notice, but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the Government. No solicitation document is available and telephones requests for technical information will not be honored.
