THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND SHOULD NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. THE SUBMISSION OF THIS INFORMATION IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. IT IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO PROCURE ANY SERVICES, NOR IS IT THE INTENT OF THE MISSION INSTALLATION CONTRACTING COMMAND (MICC) – FORT RUCKER TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI). All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if any, is issued. 1. CONTRACT INFORMATION: MICC Ft Rucker is seeking preliminary marketing information, from capable and reliable sources to gain knowledge of potential qualified business sources capable of performing all requirements to provide all labor, personnel, equipment, materials, supplies, and supervision necessary to provide rental and sanitary servicing of Outdoor Hand Wash Stations in Fort Rucker, AL. The period of performance will be one 6 month base period plus three 2 month option periods (if exercised). 2. BROAD DESCRIPTION of WORK: The Contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, equipment, materials, supplies, and supervision necessary to provide rental and sanitary servicing of Outdoor Hand Wash Stations. Ten handwashing stations shall be placed at five different base fields that operate 24 hours per day within a 30 mile radius of the Fort Rucker, AL. Each hand station shall include paper towels, standard handwashing soap, trash receptacle, gray water holding tank and fresh water tank. Number of people per station per day vary by location and shift, but is estimated at a minimum of 100 people per station per day. Stations shall be serviced a minimum of three times per week (to include replenishing paper towels and soap, emptying trash receptacle, disposal of gray water, cleaning the stations, and refilling of water tanks). The handwashing stations shall be non-permanent and portable. 3. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: In response to this sources sought, all interested firms shall provide: Name of the firm, point of contact, phone number, email address, DUNS number or CAGE code, whether you are a large business or a small business. If you are a small business, include a statement regarding small business status (including small business type(s)/certifications(s) such as 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.) and the corresponding NAICS code. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) with a valid CAGE code and DUNS number, in order to respond to any resulting solicitation. Information in sufficient detail regarding previous experience (indicate whether as a prime contractor or subcontractor) on similar requirements (include size, scope, complexity, timeframe, Government or commercial), pertinent certifications, etc., that will facilitate making a capability determination. Provide past experience of projects with similar scope or magnitude. Please provide information about your soonest possible delivery date upon receipt of order (i.e. 14 days ARO). How many hand wash stations do you have available to provide? If, in the future, the Government increases the quantity of hand wash stations required what is your ability to obtain additional stations and what lead time would be required? What are the basic features of the Hand Wash stations and do they meet the minimum salient characteristics of including paper towels, standard handwashing soap, trash receptacle, gray water holding tank and fresh water tank. How many sinks are available in your Hand Wash stations (i.e. 1, 2 or 4)? If you have an existing contract vehicle (i.e. GSA schedule) through which you provide Hand Wash station services please indicate. If you aren’t able to provide the exact maintenance schedule being requested, please specify what kind of maintenance schedule you are able to provide. Should the Government need to increase the maintenance schedule what is your ability to increase servicing support? 4.
