INTRODUCTION The Mission Installation Contracting Command - Presidio of Monterey (MICC POM) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having an interest and industry technologies available to support/provide Washer and Dryer Maintenance at the Presidio of Monterey, CA. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement, if a requirement materializes. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. Multiple awards may be made. All small business set-aside categories will be considered. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding submissions. PROGRAM BACKGROUND This is a non-personal service contract to provide washer and dryer maintenance to the washer and dryer units located throughout the installation located at the Presidio of Monterey, CA. There is a total of 528 serviceable machines throughout the installation. The contractor shall be able to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, materials, supervision, and other items and/or services necessary to perform all washer and dryer maintenance tasks described in the Performance Work Statement and Technical Exhibits. REQUIRED CAPABILITIES The Government requires washer and dryer maintenance to maintain the condition and operability of the laundry machines located at the Presidio of Monterey, CA. Individuals rely on these laundry machines to sustain their quality of life and maintain comfort and cleanliness in their daily lives. Washer and dryer maintenance includes maintenance, servicing, repairing, connecting/disconnecting machines, and transporting Government owned electric and gas washers and dryers in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). ELIGIBILITY The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 811412 – Appliance Repair and Maintenance with a Small Business Size Standard of $19 Million. The Product Service Code (PSC) is J072 – Maintenance/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment – Household and Commercial Furnishings and Appliances. SUBMISSION DETAILS Interested businesses should submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than ten pages, font no smaller than 10 point) demonstrating ability to provide the products/systems listed in this Technical Description. Documentation should be in bullet format. No phone or email solicitations with regards to the status of the RFP/RFQ will be accepted prior to its release. Your response to this Sources Sought, including any capabilities statement, shall be electronically submitted to the Contract Specialist, Megan Potts, in either Microsoft Word or Portable Document Format (PDF), via email megan.e.potts.civ@army.mil no later than the closing time and date listed in this posting.
