This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition (FAR) Subpart 12.6 (reference https://www.acquisition.gov/) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Requirement: The U.S. Army Transportation School, Fort Lee, Virginia, requires Railcar Maintenance Services for two (2) 60-foot wooden bed railcars and one (1) 89-foot metal bed railcar. Set-Aside: This requirement is designated as a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The applicable NAICS for this RFQ is 488210 – Support Activities for Rail Transportation with a Size Standard of $16,500,000.00. RFQ Details: The Government intends on awarding a Single Award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) as a result of this solicitation. The ordering period will be for five (5) years, on or about 1 September 2021 through 31 August 2026.
