It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any services, nor is it the intent of the Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) – Fort Belvoir, Virginia to award a contract based on this Request for Information (RFI) or otherwise pay for the information sought. The Government is seeking responses to this Sources Sought Notice from all interested businesses capable of providing the requirement. Small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) business development programs, historically underutilized business zone, service disabled veteran-owned, woman-owned small business, etc.) are highly encouraged to identify capabilities in meeting the requirements. MICC – Fort Belvoir is seeking preliminary market research information from capable and reliable sources to gain knowledge of potential qualified business sources capable of setting, resetting, realigning, and cleaning headstones and flat markers at ANC and USSAHNC. Approximately 32,500 headstones shall be raised and realigned; approximately 75,000 headstones straightened using the “Bump and Run” method, and approximately 5,000 to 6,000 new headstones initially set annually. The Contractor shall also clean approximately 300,000 headstones annually. Approximately 20 flat markers shall be installed and between 200 and 500 flat markers realigned annually, as describe in the attach performance work statement. The intended North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code classified for this effort is 561730 Landscaping Services. The aforementioned NAICS Code is associated with a size standard of $8 Million. All interested businesses having the ability to deliver the required service may submit capability statements via email to the Contract Specialist Edward Faison at Edward.k.faison.civ@mail.mil. Responses shall be in a Word or Word-compatible document and shall be limited to no more than eight (8) pages.
