Pre-solicitation Notice of a requirement for DPW15-123 Interior Improvements, B1218, Fort Carson, El Paso County, CO. The Mission Installation and Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Carson intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to make a single award. A firm fixed-price contract to provide for all labor, equipment, supplies/materials, perform all operations and supervision necessary to accomplish renovation of B1218, under project number DPW15-123. This notice is not an invitation for bid, and there is no solicitation package available at this time. The solicitation when available will include the work involved specifically to renovation the interior of B1218. This action is being set-aside for competition restricted to 100% set aside small businesses in accordance with 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside Award. Tentative bid opening date will be 30 days after issuance of the solicitation, or approximately 3 September 2020. The estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5M. This work is considered construction work in El Paso County, Colorado applicable to Construction Wage Rate requirements (Construction Type: BUILDING). A bid guarantee will be required in accordance with FAR 28.101 – Bid Guarantees. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the contract terms and conditions. The period of performance is estimated to be 360 days from the notice to proceed. The successful bidder will be required to provide 100% performance and payment bonds. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the Beta Sam.Gov website at https://beta.sam.gov/. Interested bidders are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package and any amendments. All prospective bidders must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database or their bid will be considered non-responsive.
