Joint Base Lewis McCord (JBLM) Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) office is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having the ability to provide band-pass filters for the JBLM Aviation Division’s radio networks use for communications with aircraft operating at JBLM and Yakama Training Center. The Aviation Division at JBLM and Yakama Training Center use transceiver radios at communication sites to cover the training areas. These sites are mainly located at high-elevation locations to provide greater coverage area. Over the years, the RF “noise-floor” has increased due to other transmitter sites broadcasting close to our frequencies. There is a need for band-pass filters to lower the noise-floor by removing the neighboring interference. The band-pass filters need to meet the following performance requirements as spelled out in the attachment "Band-Pass filter Salient Performance Characterisitics.pdf". This is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The JBLM MICC office is currently conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Instructions to Potential Respondents Companies that desire to participate in this sources sought are encouraged to submit a response which supports the company's claim that it presently has the ability to satisfy the requirements. The response should discuss the company's ability to adapt and/or provide existing technologies that have the required capabilities. Specifically, any interested companies are requested to provide the following information: 1) Name of Company 2) Business CAGE code 3) Point of contact and phone number 4) Size of Business according to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 334310 5) Other suggested NAICS codes for this program and your size classification based on these codes. 6) Company certifications (e.g. ISO-9001, ASI-9100, CMMI) 7) A brief summary of your company's experience and past performance within the past 3 years as it relates to this requirement. Each company experience (Government or commercial) should include (a) name of the project, (b) a brief description of the project, (c) the relevance of the contract/project to the requirements in this notice. 8) Reference the solicitation number.
