THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Benning, Georgia is issuing a sources sought to determine the availability of potential businesses for a requirement. This is not a request for proposals or quotes. The information gathered will be used to make an informed business decision on how to procure this requirement. The Government is seeking businesses that perform various aspect of a broad range of civil and military environmental planning activities. Such activities may include, but are not limited to planning, engineering and environmental, and social/archeological work. Engineering tasks may require experience in geological, civil and environmental engineering. Environmental tasks may require experience in biological, chemical, geological and physical science. PURPOSE: The purpose of this Sources Sought is to seek interested businesses that are capable of providing various aspect of a broad range of civil and military environmental planning activities. The Government will not award a contract based on this Sources Sought Notice, information received, nor reimburse participants for information they provide. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL OR COST PROPOSALS. This is a request for businesses interested in serving as prime contractors to submit a brief capability statement demonstrating how they could meet the requirements below: DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: This requirement has a Performance Work Statement (PWS) stating the required services in terms and outcomes to be achieved. Contractor will provide strategic sustainability and energy conservation support in the development of a long term sustainability program. It will also assist the installation in implementing extensive sustainability initiatives and assist with the renewable energy requirements. Contractor will provide support to Fort Benning Garrison Commander's Office and Directorate of Public Works including additional technical support to the installation tenants units when needed. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. All responses must provide the following: 1.
